A growing archive of itineraries from national parks, far-flung islands, and long road trips — assembled the way I'd want one handed to me. Detailed enough to actually use, opinionated enough to skip the bad calls. Take what's useful, ignore the rest.
Seventeen days across Maui, the Big Island, Kauai, and Oahu — black sand beaches, a sunrise volcano summit, the Road to Hana mile-by-mile, snorkel coves only locals know, and the Na Pali coast from a charter boat. The full plan, hotels, food, reservations, and what I'd change.
Started in upcountry Maui at God's Peace, traced the Road to Hana, snorkeled Honolua Bay, summited Haleakalā at sunrise, then island-hopped via Kona to a volcano-side cottage on the Big Island. From there: Kauai's Na Pali coast by boat, Waimea Canyon, Hanalei Bay — and a final stretch on Oahu for Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, and the North Shore food trucks.
